Default slick size help

What size slick would I use if I have a 17 inch rim and 8 inches wide. I'm using just the stock wheels for now. Someone told me slicks are measured different.

I don't think MT makes anything to fit that. The only thing I can think of that will even get close to fitting right is a Nitto 555R 245/45/17

P.S. You'd be way better off buying a set of stock v6 wheels (either 15's or 16's) and getting tires to fit that.
