New hood doesnt fit

New hood doesnt fit
so i just ordered a replacement hood for my '97 gt and they went me a cobra hood instead. The problem is the hood doesnt clear the stock strut tower brace. so i was wondering if cobras had shorter strut braces or if the hood is just ****ty. Also what would be the best thing to do about it.

Who did you order the hood from?
1st. contact them and get instructions on how to send it back if it was shipped.
2nd. if they sent you the wrong product, you never should have tried to put it on. If something were to happen while trying to put the hood on (say like you drop it or damage it) you're stuck with something that is damaged and doesn't fit.
3rd. Don't take no for an answer when talking to whoever sold you the hood. It's their mistake not yours.
