You have a creaking in the steering correct? Ford came out with a TSB for this.. Its basically replacing that metal tube that the rack bolts run thru with a shorter one (or maybe it was longer) and replacing the bushings with new ones. The bushings may be the noise, but the stock tube is also a cause and should be replaced with the updated part
