Theres an article of that exact device on this months issue of MM&FF. I read it but I didn't pay much attention, if you know someone with that magazine or if your local store still has it on the shelf then look out for it.

Lol or if you want I can take high-res photos of the pages so you can read it. Or scan it but thats more annoying. lol i'm bored

well i mean i dont know of it personally on mod motors

but it will give those with sticks a more consistent launch

AND

replaces your current rev limiter with a new one that takes away spark instead of fuel... which is MUCH safer

When I was at the track yesterday I had a problem with 3rd gear in that it wouldn't let me shift to 3rd. So once I reached redline on 2nd, one one run I just held it there for a while and I saw the tach bounce off 6000rpm or something. I know thats my stock rev limiter, but does that mean I damaged my motor?

Well I know the mechanics of what it does...I was wondering what other peoples experiences were with them. Thanks though

Well I dont have it installed on my car, but my dads blown 65 has it. It works well with the launches, consistent rpms, and easy installation.

Check your plugs and keep an eye on your fluid levels... just in case..

more than likely your car is just fine... but just dont make a habit of bouncing your rev limiter
