Well we did a compression and a leakdown test today. And the rings arent leaking even though the car smokes a good portion of the time. So the vavle guide in that #1 cylinder must be destroyed. But from what i looked up i can change it without taking the head off which is such a relief. Its gonna be a pita but it beats taking the headers off to have the heads rebuilt and than putting them back on lol. I just have to take the vavle cover and rocker assembly off and put that tool i forgot what its called but you hook it up to the compressor and it pumps air into the cylinders and holds the valves open and i can change the bad guide. i hope this works cause it smokes like crazy and not onnly is it bad that im losing oil but its quite embarassing when you car smokes that bad at every traffic light and everytime you take off.

i got the same thing happening on mine too. i opted to try to find some pi heads, and that might solve the problem

i was gonna do the pi heads but i just put my headers on and it was such a pita haha i dont feel like taking the heads off and if i did i would just get them ported.

is it the valve guide or the valve guide seal? you can change the seals w/o taking the head off but i though you had to punch out the guide itself from the combustion chamber.
