I just made a trip to Orlando (about a 7 hour drive) I was cruising at about 85 constantly with a few runs to 115+ and an attempt to catch an '05 Z06 at 100+ constantly for about 15 miles, and I managed to get 21 MPG. That's onthe interstate though. In town (where my foot hits the floormat regularly) I usually get about 16 mpg. If I drove "normally" I could probably get about 18.

Im still stock as of now and I drive pretty hard most of the time. I get 17 city. I just got back from a 4 hr drive from vegas doing 100+ thw whole time with the AC on and I got 21mpg. Im happy.

With everything stock, these cars CAN get 300 to a tank. Of course, that's assuming you the driver can stay off the throttle.

I average 260-280/tank with "spirited" driving. With normal driving, I can net 320/tank consistently..and even there is ALWAYS at least a little bit of foreplay.


But once the mods start rolling in...we'll see...

I normally get about 17-20 in My '96 GT. The only mod I have done is a K&N filter. Now, that is in Atlanta traffic. On the open road I can get up to 23 or so. The absolute best I have ever got out of a maxed out tank is 350 miles. I normally get about 275.

Ok I get 17 mpg and I'm not even close to getting 250-300 miles like all you guys are saying.... WTF?!?!

I usually get 14-16mpg in town, but on a little road trip this past weekend i got 24mpg and i was runnin' 80+ the whole time, so i was happy as hell about that. I never thought i'd see over 20mpg, highway or not...

It's a 15.4 gallon tank, if your getting 17mpg...you should be averaging at least 260 per tank.

Man I don't know how you guys drive but I have an 03 V6 and I get 250 miles on a full tank and thats when I drive GOOD!
