Wheres a good place to buy Headlight Fluid?
Only kidding.
Found out my drivers side fog light is burnt out. I pull out the bulb to see if I can find a replacement bulb laying around my garage and about 6 oz. of mud water and glass drain out of the damn thing. Looks like the recent rain got to it and caused the bulb to shatter.
Couple questions...
-I don't see any holes...openings, etc. where water could get through into the Fog Light housing...Is there anything I can do to stop water from entering again? Odd that it only effected one fog light and not the other.
-How do I get the entire Fog Light assembly off? I unscrewed a front mounted screw that was about 2" long thinking that was the one; but the assembly only pivots with it out, and doesn't come out completely.

You might want to buy some headlight wipers to rid of that headlight fluid...lol. Had to say it!!
You probably were messing with the alignment screw? The housing probably has some kind of hole in it...to leak water in there? Probably wouldn't take much to get water thru a small hole? I haven't had to really look at my fogs to do anything to them since I have owned the car so I have no idea...sure someone else can help you on that though?

Our factory fog light housings suck. Water gets in there very easily, just like our headlights. Either duct tape the entire back part of it or somehow block it, its just the way the it is .
If I remember correctly there should be 2 screws on the front to completely remove the housing.

I had that problem with one of mine and it always blew because water would get in the housing. So what I did was drill a small hole in the bottom of the head light so when ever what would come in it would just fall out. You have to move the underneath of the front bumper out of the way but it works great. I did it a year ago and still havnt had to replace it yet
