SubFrame connectors on a vert..
#2
Convertibles are more prone to chassis flex under acceleration and hard turning, because they are missing a big piece of metal over the top.
A set of full length sub frame connectors helps to brace the chassis and prevent that flex.
Also ask about a STRUT TOWER BRACE!

absolutely it makes the car solid and is a must with high hp setups on a vert. Go with maximum sports full length and have them welded. Don't buy subframes and bolt them on it will be a waste of money. Make sure you have them welded by a performance shop how has done them before.
I love mine and the way it makes the car feel and ride is not harsh either.

Another question. My car doesn't exactly have high horsepower, but my best sixty foot time at the track is a 1.85, and at some point I would like to beef up the rear end and get some slicks....I'm thinking the next mod I do is full length subframe connectors. Is it really necessary at this power level (259rwhp/29xrwtq), or am I being paranoid? The good thing is, these aren't that expensive at least, and having a shop weld them in can't be that much....
