Default need help with codes.. possible iac?

My engine light has been on for a little while now, took it to autozone and it showed two codes, the first was p1151, and the second was p1152. When i first start the car after it has been sitting it idles real rough, after it warms up its not as bad, but when i stop the idle drops down to about 500 and comes back up. It also smells like it is getting to much gas.

P1151 is the bank 2, O2 sensor 1 (front driver's side) not longer switching when trying to correct for a purposely created (during a test mode) overly rich mix.

The potential causes are the same as P1130, none of which have anything to do with the IAC...

It could be any of the problems listed.

Work 'em from the top--or,

The first thing I would do would be the make sure the O2 sensor heater is getting power. Back probe the heater connections on that sensor and start the engine. You should get +12V acroos the heater wires, if not there's a wiring/fuse problem. A blown fuse is unlikely as all 4 sensors get their power throught the same fuse.

Next I'd pull the O2 sensor and test it as described here. If it fails this test the replace it.

Or you could just replace the sensor and hope you get lucky...

P0505, P0506, P0507, P0511, P1504, P1506, P1507 they don't show up very often because the IAC does not malfunction all that often.

That's why you will read a lot of posts saying "I cleaned and/or replaced my IAC and my idle is still whacked out".

Whoa, I missed that. With your mods there's no need for anything other the the stock MAF--is that what you referred to as the "new MAF".

If the "new MAF" is not a stock unit, and you have not specifically tuned for the "new MAF" then all you have done is screw things up. Put the OEM MAF back in and start from there..
