Default Planning to add a Kenne Bell kit

I have only had my 02 gt for a month and I am planning on installing a Kenne Bell supercharger when I have the funds. My First Question is....Is there anything else I will need besides the kit from Kenne Bell?
Next, My car has an after market Shaker hood scoop and I want to use it since there would be a big hole in my hood If i didnt. I talked to a guy at Kenne Bell and he said I could make it work with some custom brackets. Do you all think Its possible? I think I could, but I would also want to make it functional.

Its not functional now. Make some brackets and I'm sure it will work.

What he is trying to say is Shakers look cool but they don't do much. You can go add the shaker on top of the KB and make it work to keep the blower cooler but I think it would be too much work for not enough gain to get it to be "functional".

I am not trying to get anymore HP gain from it I just dont want to have to get another hood. And I think it would be sweet if I could make it functional.

I saw a KB installed on a Mach 1. They made special bracket for the shaker scoop, but it will be non-functional after the KB is installed.

the shaker hood is made to jam air in as you drive thats the same thing that the KB is made to do only the KB does alot better of a job once that is in theres no ram air system thats going to help a SC more then it already does itself even if you make a work. there will be no diffrence in HP. maybe if your car is starving for air without it you will gain 1 or 2 hp

Ok let me explain my self. There is no such thing as ram air! It is just a clever marketing thing. The air traveling through the intake is traveling at close to the speed of sound. I don't care how fast you think your car is you are not going to be able to ram air into the intake. The bes it does is gets a cooler air charge but since you are installing a Kenne Bell it won't really matter so there for the shaker hood is just for looks.

do you guys read what his saying?????? He said he has a ram air right now, wants to see if he can fit it with the s/c. He doesn't care about the minimal horsepower gain, just wants to use his current setup and not have to buy another hood.
