Default Hand held tuner- Ecu problems??

If you flash tune your car to many times how badly can u mess up the cars computer. I flash tuned my car atleast 5 times. How bad is that. Can i retune it again?? How many times b4 i mess up everything

You can retune as many times as you wont it wont damage the computer.

It won't damage anything. You can reset to default anytime. I screwed around w/ a predator 30-40 times. I screwed my o2 up once. Playing around is dangerous, go small increments. What kind of tuner do you have. ??

The Ford EEC-V PCM used in our cars uses an Intel 28F010 series CMOS flash memory chip, it is rated for 100,000 erase/program cycles.

To put this in perspective, to reach 100,000 erase/program cycles you would have to flash a new tune 27 times an day, every day, for 10 years...
