Just take a chance and heli it and put the cams in. You will be amaze what the cams will do for you.Dont for get about the springs. Anderson ford has a cam tool to hold the chain in place and you can reuse the cam sprocket.They are like 29.95

Anderson cam tool is a great way to destroy your engine if your not carefull.

you can just get the heads you have ported and add some cams to them while you have them out. not to hard the get the heads off it will just take you all afternoon if you have the right tools. im running crower s/c cams w/ ti retainers and keepers, it has a nice lope and idle.i would also suggest using arp studs vs the factory 'torque to yield' bolts. regardless of what route you take, the heads and cam change will really wake up your engine and complement your p1sc. you will also probably need a beefier clutch too, if you dont already have one.

You may what to lower the boost once the new cams are in. You don 't want to exceed the hp limits of the stock pistons and rods.
