Default clutch

Ok im new the the mustang world just picked up a 99 gt 4.6L and my clutch is slipping, it has been since i got it, im puttin down 422rwhp right its got a center force in it but im not sure witch one so could someone give me some good links to places for parts and what not thanks.

I would look at replacing it w/ either another centerforce or other good brand. I have a Spec clutch and liked it. There are a lot of options it just depends on what you want. Also, make sure it is rated to take the power you are putting down.

its been at that same boost level for about 2 years now and it has never had a problem

Also, don't forget that clutches are going to be rated at RWTQ, not RWHP. Try to get people's feedback on what their set-ups are and what clutch they went with.

I'm not totally disappointed with the clutch I settled on (Spec Stage 3; rated up to 600 RWTQ), but I don't enjoy how much of a one-dimensional racing clutch it is. It's literally, either engaged....or it's not. Anything in between...and it carries on like it's nobody's business. My old clutch (11 inch McLoed) was solid as anything with normal to moderate driving....but had a little trouble re-engaging under load (almost, too one-dimensional toward good manners with around town driving).
