disk is good but check the trans make sure everything spins ok. and the cable, then check the shifter where it goes into the trans.

yea i had him push it in, and the fork didn't go all the way until it hit the housing, so i pushed it the rest of the way and he still couldn't get it into first

ok, if you were able to compress the fork, were you able to turn the rear wheels with little to no resistance? or did u compress it and then the tires still felt licked like they tried to turn the motor also?

how could you put a clutch disk in backwards.. the springs would hit the flywheel....

well thanks for all your help guys, i dropped that 5speed AGAIN, and put in a different clutch plate, the springs on the old one, looked a little lower... idk, i think i might have messed it up the first time cuz i tried bolting in the tranny, with a bolt up top holding the gasket, that i forgot was up there.. oh well she runs... except the she catches really close to the floor... is this normal?

did you check to see if the old disc was facing the right way??? and my spec releases really high. do you have anything aftermarket like a clutch quadrant, firewall adjuster or cable?
