Headman LT's, any good?
i have the oppurtunity to accquire a set of headman lt's and off road x for only $300 brand new. the headers are ceramic coated. The drivers side is a two piece design to fit over the steering shaft, will this have any seal problem, and id have to get cats welded into the x pipe. What i am asking is does any one have any experience with these headers and is it worth it?

I have a set and it did start to leak at the slip joint (the area that you are referring to). I took the driver's side header apart at the slip joint and put them back together using copper RTV to seal them together. I should have done this when I thought about it during the initial installation. It sealed up great with no more leaks.
With the exception of ground clearance, i have no issues with my hedman lts. I like them alot. I have scraped them pretty good at times which probably hastened the leak at the slip joint. I get great power out of them and I can actually feel the power start to come on at around 2800 rpm. I still get great torque down low too. The tork-step feature is cool. Hopefully they are the ones your are getting.

you could sell the o/r pipe and just get a catted one, if its cheaper than having cats welded. you also could just buy universal slip on cats, like ones from pypes. just cut off some pipe off your o/r pipe and clamp them on.
