Default kenne bell 04 gt or 04 mach1

hey guys i just had a couple of quick questions for you.

1. I want to get a new edge body style mustang and i dont know whether get an 04 gt and supercharge it or go for an 04 mach 1. Either way the one i get will have an automatic transmission.

2. If i do decide to go with the 04 gt how much horsepower would i get from the kenne bell 2.1 and how much do you think the install should cost. Also would the car be sturdy enough to handle the supercharger. If you guys could please answer this i would appreciate it.

as long as you keep it around 400 you will be fine... I'd definitely get the GT

hmm... have you looked at 01 cobras? You might be able to have the best of both worlds. The KB will definitely be sick, this is another future goals question. Id try to find a cheaper 4v and supercharge that.

Overall the 4V is a much more cost friendly platform to make power with. If you want to save money still, look around for a 99 or 01 Cobra, as stated above, even though a nice condition Mach can be had for ~$15k. Still a nice 4V powerplant, and you'll be able to make more power with less boost. Plus, a 7k redline is pretty fun.

Yea i mean i would like to get a cheap black or white gt and put the KB blower in it. I was also wondering how much different does the mach 1 feel compared to a gt. I have test driven a mach 1 and it felt powerful and rode pretty smooth at the same time. But if i decide to go gt with the KB it will be faster.

My question is that on a completely stock 04 gt with about 30,000 miles on it. How much hp would i have with the kenne bell 2.1 L kit. I would like to be somewhere around 400 hp and also would the car be fine stock.
