03 cobra twin turbo question
asking this question for a friend
car is a 2003 Cobra with whipple supercharger doing 650 crank HP
now next week getting twin turbo kit with the t57's
question other the flywheel and clutch, can the 6spds really hold all the extra power?

that seems to be the case, I have a few friends who have replaced theirs, but not due to failure, just anticipating failure. Depending upon how much you intend to boost it, I would look into new pistons once you get around upper 700s-800s

anything over 600-650 and you can expect things to start failing, im not sure what u guys have on the car, but the rear end is going to need help, transmission might be ok for a little while if you dont power shift it, the internal are questionable some will say they hold 800 but ive seen a cobra with 608 rwhp pop its engine also one at 747 with a KB mammoth blower on it, thats the thing with hand built engines they arent all the same

air fuel mixture ratio is a big thing guys, tuning to the right specs makes a big difference for long lasting engine, as for rear end they are bullit proof I find, car is 03 has the whipple charger for the last 8000miles and beat beat beat oil stays right yellow and never drops no pigning nothing
just twin turbo will bring it to 750 rear wheel hp wondering if the tremec is up for it
getting the big flywheel upgrade and clutch
