Default catback suggestions?

im looking to get a catback for my 04 gt, i have a bassani catted x pipe. i was just wondering on everyone's opinion and could help me pick one out. im looking for a nice muscle car sound. i hear slp lms are noice. i like loud too. ive been on youtube and have tried to listen but some of the vids are hard to judge, the filming is usually too close and sound like crap.

You should check out the SSS catback exhaust. They are relatively new to the market and are now surprisingly out of stock in most places but will be back soon. They are T304 polished stainless throughout. 2.5" piping, straight through mufflers and 3.5" rolled, angled tips. All for around $365 shipped. Can't beat that.

Theres a clip of it on youtube on a mach 1 and on putfile.com they have some drive-by's with a new edge GT. Sounds pretty darn good. Some people say it sounds almost like Borlas for half the price.

It amazes me when guys say flows rust. I am in the military staioned in Missouri and we had a very bad winter. I drove my car everyday (when I could get traction) and my exhuast hasn't rusted. I had flows on a 93 camaro z28 when I lived in Germany; No rust. Maybe I got lucky.

slps aint gon give you no muscle sound, unless you get the lm2 with a catted h

i have a stock midpipe, with bassani stainless steel catback, i will soon get the slp long tubes along with a slp o/r x pipe.

i personaly think the lm1 are way to loud. my buddy had long tune headers, o/r H and lm2s and it sounded pretty nasty and was still plenty loud. my favorite are the borla stingers...i think thye sound awesome. i have a bassanie catback with a slp catted x and it also has a nice muscle car sound to it. cant go wrong with bassanie
