if you go 4v you got more horsepower and i know it probly doesn't matter but about 1-2mpg's more. hope the build goes smoothly for you

Just a thought: When you start your build, take lots of pics and do a write up. List all the parts you used and where you got them from. A lot of people on here could use a write up like that. Good luck!

i want to stick with a 2 v cause it will be alot less money than the 4v and it will be alot easier to swap in.

well the engine build is going to be pushed back quite a bit, i got hit the other day, now ill have to take care of that. i guess that gives me ore time to research the parts i need to build the motor. i could really use your guys help on this stuff like:
-what heads to use
-what cam to use
-a 5.4l max stroker kit(all forged)
i was planing to start with a bare new 5.4l block from ford motorsports($500) and build from there, am i going to need to buy a used 5.4l for parts, timing cover, bolts and stuff or what? The 4.6 in my car now still runs just fine but i want a **** load more power, lol.
thee heads i have been looking at are the patriot performance stage 3 ported heads, assembled ($1495)
the comp cams stage 2, noticable idle, PI cams($600)
let me know what you thinkso i can find everything i need be fore i start.
thanks
