i have been wanting to do this swap ever since i bought my car, not because its slow but just because the 5.4 is faster. lol i would just really like to talk to any one that has info on this subject. pics and steps would be nice.

well the build is going to be a little off schedule. i got hit last night in the right rear panel/door. thats going to set things back a bit. i could really use all the info any of you guys have or can find so i can keep researching what parts i need. heres a list of parts that i need help deciding on for the engine build:
-which set of cams
-the biggest stroker kit for the 5.4 (should be stroked/bored to a 6.0 or 6.4l)
-all the parts i need to complete the build so i can just drop it in (wiring, bolts,???)
-the sites with the best prices
i plan to start with a 5.4 iron block new from ford motorsports ($500)
i was looking at Patriot Performace stage 3 port and polished heads assembled ($1495)
input???
