Default Going to the track, What should i take out to lose weight

Ok guys, im finally getting the car to the track this weekend. I already took my spare tire and jack out. The prostars are going on it as well. I'm going to take my passenger seat and rear seat out as well. What else should i do? Any suggestions.
I just want a high to mid 12 out of her!

Sounds like you covered almost everything. If you want to go extreme take out your radio and speakers and door panels, Switch your driver seat for your passenger one. The driver seat weighs a lot more than your passenger.

Only go with less than a quarter tank of gas... I figure you probably also took out the carpeting in the trunk.. You could, if you REALLY wanted to, take out the CD Player/Head Unit, along with the speakers in the doors/trunk.. I guess it depends on how light you want to go.. You could pull your headlights AT the track if you wanted to get really ridiculous, but I figure you're just about at that maximum allowable free-mod limit..

Wow, i never though about the cd/ head unit and speakers. Well thanks for the advice, I probably will do the passenger seat in the drivers spot trick. Thanks again, and i will have video and pictures form the track.

I doubt taking out your cd player, speakers, headlights, as well as your carpet is gonna make a difference at all. Unless you got some crazy mods I wouldn't stress about the little 5-10 pound weight loss. I would however stick with 1/4 tank of gas. Good luck on the track though.

take the front sway bar stabilizer thing off.. it will let the front end come up more and put more weight on the rear tires.. this was eigth mile but it dropped my time from i ran two 9.21's someone told me to take it off i did and i ran a 9.17.. that would help you.

You guys crack me up on all the stuff you take out to go to the track. Seems like a lot of work and can ruin the experience. Hell I run with a car seat in the back when I go.

you can take your bumper covers off and remove the actual metal bumpers/foam padding...then put the covers back on...it will look stock but be lighter without the weight of the bumpers
