How much should Gears cost?
I am planning on installing FRPP 3:73 in my Automatic GT is that good? I drive Highway and another thing i dont like that im a worried about is it true that my gears driving up my RPM's up higher at cruise and Acceleration? Explain is this harder on my engine? And how much should the install cost me ?

If you do a fair amount of Freeway drving then 3.73s were prob a good choice since you are auto. Your Rpms will be slightly higher on the freeway but not a whole lot. Its really no harder on the engine and may actually be a little less stress on it around the city.
You will definately notice an increase in performance and acceleration.

not any worse on your engine than stock. gas milage is not effected...well, it is (very little)...most say about 1-2 mpg if you're conservative. Most people aren't however, because they like to feel the "pull." gears will be between 150-225 depending on purchaser, and install will run between 180-275 depending on who you go to.

My gear installation ran around 200 and then 200 for the gears for a whopping grand total of $400. So any where around there is reasonable. 3.73's are a good choice if you drive the freeway (sry highway) a lot. texan here
