Ok so over the weekend, I had one of my spark plugs blow out..I was told this is very common on Fords..I just had my plugs replaced less then a month ago... so this really sucks.... Ok so heres my question What is a better fix a "Time-Sert", "LOCK-N-STITCH" or a "Heli-Coil" and why? Please any info whould be great...thanks

i had the same thing happen to me and me and my dad did a Heli-coil and it worked good but when i got my heads worked i had steal inserts put in all the plugs to keep that from happening again.

time-sert is probably the best bet

which cylinder? #3? (3rd back on pass. side?)

i did it, didnt work right, replaced cylinder head, no issues yet

Who replaced the plugs? This is mostly a problem when the plugs were not properly torqued (11-13 ft/lbs) at installation.
