Exclamation Is this a safe idea?

I have an o4 mustang gt procharged at 5psi putting about 340 on a load dyno. I want to put stage 2 or 3 cams with upgraded valve spring, rockers, and lifters. I also want to take out the stock intercooler and replace it with a bigger better one. Last but not lest i want to put a smaller pully one it. Would this be safe for my motor? Please tell me if im wrong but if i put the cams on there it will change my compression ratio like 7 to 1 to 9 to 1 but when i put that smaller pulley on there it should just about put it back to 7 to 1. So now im putting out more power and the intercooler to keep everything hopefully colder and running better. I was hopeing to get it on a loaded dyno to about 400 to 450. Do you think this will be ok on my motor?? Also some other things i have done to the car is listed in my sig check it for more detail on the car to see if it would handle the power better. Please give lots of intel thanks...

Your compression wont change, as far as the cams go im not sure how well those work with f/i, the pulley and everything else sounds fine you just have to make sure you get a tune, because all that work without one something is sure to blow up.

you wont change ur compression just by changing cams and springs. if you deck the block or head you will increase compression, or if you buy dished pistons you will lower compression. but with a tune you should be fine with your hp numbers you want.

just read article on cams in our mustangs and it was very interesting. with f/i choosing the best cam can be tricky, however bottom line don't go past the stage 2 cams, unless your car is going to never really be driven on the street. check it out on MMFF tech articles.
