oh and to the OP revingto 4000 in neutral is the same as reving to 4000 while in 4th only your going about 120

that s what i thought in atlanta on 285 there s a straight away that you can see if there s any cops ,i just drop it down in 4th gear and let it rip all the time at that spot i got to 120 in 4th but hit the brakes soon as i hit the curve since i can t see if there s any cops

i think the fastest i went was 120 around a bend and it was bumby i thought i was going to wipe out ...but to answer the question no 4000 rpm is ok just uses a little more gas
