Is your car cammed or supercharged?

If it is cammed, Is it a BIG cam?

If your don't have a BIG cam or a supercharger, The stock PI intake is fine even on non-PI cars.

The P-51 is a great intake for top end and Peak Power, so even if you do pickup some peak power, you will most likely lose a good amount of usable torque.

well im searching around for a new set of PI heads since I have the Non PI heads with my year and I was just looking around and the P-51 looked interesting for a niice intake. If I were to use the P51 are you saying I would need BIG cams and if not id loose a great bit of torque....Im slowly learning about heads and cams and the intake manifold so im just trying to do some research and figure out whats the best setup for me

The P51 manifold was really made for a centrifugal supercharger.

What I was saying above is either way any short runner intake manifold will hurt your bottom end. The only way to make that loss worth it is to have an aggressive cam or a supercharger.

DefCon is correct. I do think it a worthy mod if you're planning on future mods.

If your car isnt pushing some serious power dont even bother buying it. Yes its a bad *** intake but its gona kill your power if you're bolt on close to stock.

Honestly thats a good setup.

Get a set of PI heads ,Cams, and a FRPP PI Aluminum Cross-Over intake. And I promise that will put a smile on your face and about 268 Hp under your butt.
