hey i've been looking around a some new headlights, and have found 3 basic styles. chrome, smoked, and black.
i've seen alot of smoked and chrome headlights, but have not ACTUALLY seen any black housing without smoked.
does anyone have any pics?

i just finished restoring these... they are the stock ones. top one is restored while bottom isn't. needs another pass with 2000 grit and some polishing and lastly some clear.

so the stock headlights are not smoked, there just back housing? and do you like the amber or clear?

I get some Nice Cracking and peeling on mine, right around the orange reflectors....

I dont mean to hijack , but does anyone know if they make actual glass housings .

I believe the inside parts are smoked also. I like both amber and clear. But i would choose the clear over the amber corner reflectors. right now they are out of my reach so i decided to do this instead of spending 190-200 on smoke clear corners from American Muscle.

I will try to have it up by Sunday Night/Monday Morning as I am about to go to work in an hour, and have Service tomorrow. But definitely check out my thread in the detailing area defcon.

I did what 562cobra did and it made them look new again. They use to look just like 562cobra's did before.
