Alum drive shaft

Default Alum drive shaft

Over the winter i am putting on long tubes and i was wanting to put on a alum driveshaft in.
would it make a difference or would it be a waste of money?

It will be lighter then the stocker. Will you notice a difference. I don't think your gonna feel anything to noticable. but every little bit counts and adds up in the end.

Quicker rev higher and falling minimal there's minimal parasitic hp regained.

Would it be more worth my money to get a alum drive shaft or injectors?
and if injectors 24lb or 30 lb?

You have no need to upgrade injectors yet. I didn't feel a thing when I put on the aluminum D/S but it sure makes it look pretty under there.

I very seriously doubt you will feel a difference with the drive shaft. If you did, what exactly would you feel???????

If someone really wanted to regain weight loss then they should get an Aluminum Flywheel. I don't know if it matters a lot but AD have a larger Diameter which can rub on exhaust if the mufflers are not properly mounted.

Aluminum flywheels are not recommended for street cars. It will lower your mpg and on cars with large amounts of power they will cause driveability problems. They are also horrible for drag racing. I would only recommend it on a road course car.

I drive my car on the street just fine... and I get decent gas mileage. That being said its not for everyone and it takes some time to get used to. if I was going to drive it a lot of the street I wouldn't go with the ceramic disks.
