Default UNDERDRIVE PULLEY Problem!!!!!!!!!!!

I have BBK underdrive pulleys and they have been on for about 2 years. I noticed that the wheel on the water pump has a groove cut in it from where my belt was slipping. What causes the belt to wear a groove into the pulley wheel and am I supposed to change the size of the belt when I changed the pulley wheels?? PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!

You shouldn't have to, although the BBKs being a piggy-back design might have something to do with it.

You need to look at your belt each year. Don't wait 2 years to check on things like that.

The BBK UDPs are aluminum I believe, aluminum is a horrid material for making pulleys to be used with rubber drive belts--the rubber gets impregnated with grit and chews up the aluminum...

Steeda w/o a doubt. Steeda actually worked with ford to make sure they got the same harmonic dampening properties as the OEM crank pulley.
