Default how much to repaint the fender?

some a@@ holes threw some eggs at my car last night when i was waiting for them to drive by so i could pull in my drive.

the egg hit the top corner of my drivers side fender, and took a couple of chips out of my paint and left lots of little cracks

what am i looking at $$ wise to get it re-painted?

A body shop will want a good $300 to paint and match the panel.

I do body work and charge about $200 or so to do a panel like that. Ask around and you may find a private body man that is decent and will do it cheaper than a shop will.

Yeah most shops will want around $350 per panel. And dealers usually even more.

I would never take my car to a dealership. You're looking at double or even triple the cost in many cases if you go to a dealership for any work that needs to be done. Take it to a body shop that is reputable.

+1 a dealership will always charge a lot more and probably won't do a paintjob any better than a good reputatable shop that charges much less
