Default mach 1 on a GT

I am about to buy a mach 1 instrument cluster for my 04 GT will it be compatible? Thanks!!

There was recently a post about this. I think it could be stickied now. It will work but now it's gonna look like you have a 6800 rpm redline.

I was worried cause I heard sometimes the volt and oil won't work or something thanks for the quick response!

Yes it will work. If you havent bought it yet try looking for an auto mach1 cluster the redline is the same as a GT. Thats the one i got and it only cost me 110 bucks on ebay

thanks guys i bought it and it actually was from an auto! i got it for 100 bucks in craigslist.. the condition wasbetter than my original one lol im going to install it today

The install was a price of cake! 20 min max although I'm not happy with the brightness... It looks weak... How can we increase the brightness? Has any1 done it? Thanks!

I read the thread that defcon attached...

It looks like the guy in that thread who did the swap also had a problem with the cluster brightness. I wonder if that is a function of compatibility or what would be causing that? I would be interested in the swap myself if there is a way around the brightness issues.

Seriously my stock cluster was set to the max brightness so the shock was big.. to me it looks like its powered by an old 1 AA battery lol
