Default Well i have my problem narrowed down

Well the dieing when im driving is a Alt, so random loose wire, or my computer... if anyone has any other ideas what it could be let me know

have you had the alternator tested? Is that how you know its the alt?

I had an issue a little over a year ago where my car would just die while driving without warning (like someone turned the ignition off). I noticed one day that the plastic piece on the top of the alternator that connects the alternator to the battery had been melting. I changed out the alternator and battery and it hadn't happened since.
