Default Eibach Pro Kit Rear Pinion Snubber?

Do you really need to install the stock replacement rear rubber pinion snubbed that comes with Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs?

Default RE: Eibach Pro Kit Rear Pinion Snubber?

I have the sportlines which are lower. I did not install mine for months after. I heard sounds that I did not like so later I installed the snubber and it did not seem to make any diff. The noises that I heard ended up being the big fat Magnaflow pipes banging the sway bar and fuel tank shell. I adjusted everything and no more noises. I don't think that the snubber would make much diff especially on the ProKit which is higher that many lowering springs.
