Default Black Out Decal

I just got my Black out decal that goes between the taillights. My question is whats the best way to apply it? Soapy water, so I can move it around? or should I try to just stick it on? I have done decals in the past but I want this one to look good, and since it comes in 5 pieces its gonna be a PITA.
How Do I take the GT emblem off? and I would like to put it back on after I get the decal on.

Soapy water... And make sure your hands are as clean as you can get them.

You can get to the emblem from the inside of your trunk, have to pop it off and to re apply youll just need some emblem glue

Not sure about the emblems but I have stangmods vinyl decals..

Get a spray bottle and use soapy water but go easy on the soap - you don't need that much. Works like a dream.

I believe it's under that black box where the trunk pull is no big deal if you search around on the forums someone will show how to take it off. I watched them do it when they did some warranty work after my emblem's cover came off and teh black gt paint was chipping away. It has a few holes around and one big one, I would suggest using a head gun and maybe a punch in the smaller holes to prevent damage.

Emblem glue, basically anywhere, wal mart or any parts store, 2 bucks for a tube and you don't need to use a lot.

I used a hair dryer when I put mine on, the heat helps to manipulate the decal.

The GT emblem will come off, but make sure you also get all the old glue residue off the trunk before you put the decal back on.
