I'm pumped for my buddys GT
Good friend of mine is taking his '99 GT to the strip tomorrow.
Up untill now it's been a show car and has been to most if not all of the car shows in the pacific nw.
But now it's been warmed up with some 3.73's, cai, LT's and a Cat back.
Car is an auto and has not yet been tuned.
I'm hoping he get's a 13.8 to 13.9 et.
Possible?
What do you guy's think?

I'll see if I can post some pics saturday after the runs.
14's?
Yeah, maybe.
As for sticky tire's, no.
He's got some pretty cool looking 18' rim's on right now. Not the best for performance I know, but I am hoping he can get into the high 13's with what he's got.

Well, the car has been to the track before.
Best to date was a 13.98@95.50 on pretty sticky tires.
Dan is right though, this car has done way more shows than races! LOL!
The wife's been back in school so I have been getting the performance levels up a bit.
The exhaust is now completely done and I have added a C&L plenum and a Accufab 75mm TB.
It does feel stronger, especially in the mid range.
I am hoping for a traction impared 13.80.
But, the timeslip will tell the truth and I will know if it's getting better, or just sounding better!
Don't know how to attach pics?

Def Possible. I used to have a 04 GT auto as well. Ran a best of 13.77 at the track with SLP lt's, x, catback, jlt cai, and 373's. Oh yeah I was also on the stock tires and spinning a lot. A stock auto will run 14.2 -3. MM&FF had a 04 a few years back and got it down to 14.03 I think completely stock. I would reccomend a stall and valve body, these two will drastically improve his times and are fairly cheap.
