Someone I know is selling a 00-04GT vortech system. DO you think it would fit my 99GT. 00 and 99s r the same exact engine right? what could be different?

Should I buy it or hold off? Pls. help. THANKS guys

it should fit. call vortech. its the same block with the same intake manifold etc.

you'll need a new mounting bracket for the 99. i bought one from a guy that had a 99 and needed a new bracket. the bracket through vortech costs $299. if you click our sponsor's link, superchargersonline, they'll get you the same mounting kit for $280.

yep. everything else is the same. only the mounting bracket & idler pulley are different. both of which come with that kit i mentioned. when i get my vortech installed not this weekend, but the following weekend, i'll have the bracket if you're interested. i'll have to see when they take the old one off and see what they say about reusing it and the idler pully.

Are you getting it new or used. 2700 dollars sounds like the vortech "tuner: kit. All it comes with is the blower and the piping to get it there, no fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Make sure ya ask em before ya buy.
