I haven't read mention of steeda's catback. Guessing they're cheap for a reason? The packages look good but not if I end up unhappy with the exhaust. They sound good on utube but those are all full fledged "Steedas".

So far it's between LM1 and Violator. I like that ripping sound of the violator but I want to make sure it's plenty loud below 2000rpm. Keeping the 3.27 and have to have full cats.

I recently bought some lm1's. With my o/r x-pipe they were insanely loud (too loud for me to hear my tires spinning!) but now i have my ford catted h-pipe re installed i love em. it burbles at idle. roars on acceleration. an crackles an dburps when i down shift and engine break. They are awesome. stainless. Really easy to install. the 3.5 inch double lipped tips look really classy and if you ever wanted to change the tone and volume slp can supply mufflers that simply switch with your original lm1s

I love mine and i think that they were only $417 from american muscle

I Just tore out my whole Borla system and put in a MAC Prochamber O/R Kit and Flowmaster 40's and I Love It! Totally the sound I wanted.. That Nice Hollow Growl.. I kept the Borla Axle pipes and nice 4"x4 Stainless Tips which look Incredible, so the project was a total success )

I have violators and i love them. They are very loud. You should get a catted x pipe and it will be perfect and legal. I have a sound clip in my sig. And there are other videos on my youtube.

I was never generally a fan of loud exhausts and I've watched many sound clips on youtube before I ever did anything with my exhaust. I even thought that weld in Flowmaster 40's were gonna be loud too and was even considering the 50 series...

Well I had super 40's welded in and I was very surprised that it sounded exactly like stock but one and a half times louder...

I realized that videos on youtube will make the car seem louder than it already is

Just a week ago I won an auction for a used borla stinger catback on ebay (ended up paying a bit more than I wanted but I just wanted to win an auction for once lol) and I've been told that it was gonna be loud so I was worried but now I don't give a crap because the Stingers sound like ABSOUTE SEX....BOMB....SEX

It's amazing. It's actually not that loud. It's not quiet thats for sure but it's not ridiculously loud. At idle it's not bad at all actually. I'm running the stock mid pipes so I know changing that would make it even louder but I have no plans for that for now.
