Rev Limiter

You can't say collect1ve because there was another mustang forum. that had done several raids and ********** is in their site's address. So our mods blocked it. I talked to several of the mods about the.
I just want to make sure that everyone knows that there is no special meaning on innuendo behind that word no was it a glitch on the part of any of mustangforums mods or administration.

I am actually shocked that the stock limiter is set at 6052, I always thought it was set at 5750 or 5800.
Also isn't the GT's rotating assembly nearly identical to the mach1's and the 99 cobra with the exception of the crank.
So does that meant that the stock rods are good to over 6800?

Maybe but different heads and valve springs. I don't know why but my tuner set my rev limiter to 7,000 rpm. I've gone to 6,000 rpms many times. I missed second once and hit 6500. Nothing bad happened but I really don't want to do that again. With stock valve springs I think that would be begging for trouble. I read a post about a guy who intentionally shifted at 7,000. His engine started knocking. I would have thought it was a spun bearing but it ended up that he had bent valves.

Cliffy, you're **********-ing killing me here lol.
Seriously though, you must know a ton of random crap about mechanics/engineering. Well, not random, but a very vast or board understanding of a TON of different things. And I never pictured you as a 62 year old. I inadvertantley assume everyone on this site is my age, and that's 20-25 lol.
You mentioned cams on Ducatti bikes both above and below the valves to virtually eliminate the possibility of 'valve float' since there is no 'room for float'. You have any pictures of what that motor/head/assembly would look like?
