Sorry all I saw was handling section...there isn't even a section like that for my car. Guess I am driving the forgotten bastard child of ford again!

this is a 2005+ forum, i know nothing about the '03s... if it was an '05, i'd tell you a package is a waste of money and that you should figure out what you want to change and build your own setup.

First off, get some sort of idea as to what your suspension goals are. Just saying, "I want to bang corners better" is not a good enough answer. What do you do with your car? i.e. daily driver, autocross, track events. From there you will be able to find out what might be needed for improvements. Personally IMO if it is only a daily driver and you have no intentions of taking the car off the street no improvements are needed. Suspension "upgrade" packages are kind of sales pitches that really are not a end all be all for upgrades.

My suggestion would be to call up Sam Strano (www.stranoparts.com) once you develop an idea of what your goals are and discuss options with him. He won't sell you something you don't need.

Buyer beware - a company that sells LOTS of Mustang suspension goodies is run out of a closet. Almost everything sold by them is drop shipped. The owner doesn't even drive a 'stang - he drives a BMW. Know who you are buying from......

'03 GT? Sell it and buy an S197.

My '93 Cobra isn't a whole lot faster than my S197, but it has a LOT more money wrapped up in it.

Wow... interesting.

Good thing I'm not one of those companies run out of my house and own a Mustang.

Ok, this is the S197 forum, but like he said there isn't a lot of handling stuff forum wise for the SN95's (but there are plenty of parts). Rest assured you can make your car handle about 1000 times better than it does, and most of the improvement comes from basic stuff like good dampers, springs, bars, etc.

I agree the S197 is a better starting point, but not everyone is in a position to buy a new car just because it's "better". If you'd like some help I'm in... but I'll tell you know I can't setup a car or recommend stuff by PM because I hate guessing about your wants.
