Default witch is easier new cams or heads with cams installed

i have installed lots of cams and heads but not on a 4.6 so i was wondering how much harder or easier it would be to get a set of head with cams installed and swap them out as a set or just put new cams in. i am looking for the easiest way to do this i will go with foxlake heads and cms cams stage 2. its alot of money but if the combo is alot easier that is what i will do.

It would be easier to do it all at once, but installing cams is not that difficult.

Personally, I'd do them both at the same time, to save on labor and having to degree the cams more than once.

Degreeing looks really hard on these engines. I'm going to take my engine to a shop and let them do it after I put it all together.

Degreeing the cams is actually quite simple, especially with the engine on a stand.

we'll if your gonna run stage 2 cams. Your going to want to upgrade the heads anyway to get the most out of the cams.
