Default Anyone know what this wire/tube/hose is?

The douche at the muffler shop decided to carelessly saw off my stock exhaust and decided to almost cut off this tube or something and I was wondering if you guys know what it is because I might want to replace it if it's a cheap fix..

It's that thin black wire/hose thingy right above the silver scratches on my chassis. It seems to be connected to a much thicker hose... is it my brakelines or something?

Thanks,
Brandon

All brake lines have fluid running through them. The emergency brake is a mechanicly operated system with no "brake line" running to it( unless things have changed )

Well if there is really fluid running through that hose then no he didn't cut it clean through yet because I haven't had any fluid leakage of brake problems but he did cut through the outside of the hose... maybe theres a thin wall still holding the fluids in

You can see the part pointed out where that part of the hose is like "shaved".

Lesson to learn here: While this is not that bad, unless it's a TOP notch shop, do everything yourself by all means because 99% of places will just **** **** up

I mean this is a stupid problem to have.. he used a reciprocating saw with like a 4-5inch blade and he can't even cut my stock exhaut pipe off cleanly and my car was even lifted by a shoplift. I just hate stupid **** happening
