Default Should I?

I have always wanted a GT. Bought a new 3.8 in 95 when I graduated college, and regretted not getting the gt. I have found a clean 01 with 95k. Only mods include flowmasters with turn down. Only asking $6500. Do you guys think this is a good deal? Any problems I should be looking for? Seems to drive strong, but I drive an Altima everyday. This would be a toy for me but don't want to get robbed. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest seeing if they'll let you take it to a private shop and have it inspected. just to be safe. Also doesn't hurt to run a car fax.

I appreciate the response. For some reason I am very reluctant. I always have someone to look it over but is there anything else I should be wary of

If you're looking for a toy, i say look elsewhere. Maybe an older 89-91 5.0.

Why do you think that? When I say toy I am thinking of a weekend driver.

The 5.0's are cheap and easy to make into that weekend driver you want. Just get one and turbo it! Haha

+1 To the carfax!!! Make sure you ask the dealship for one... I'm pretty sure they are required to have these at your request.

I got my 04 with 60k miles for 11999... So thats just a judge of the depreciation.

Its not a bad deal, for the car. I would def. look it over check oil color, for oil leaks, etc. You have to have it taken to a private mechanic to have things checked that you can't visually check.

The dealer I went through allowed me to take it to my personal mechanic and have them hook it up to a comuter to check on the wear and tear...

Do whatever you can to make sure you're not getting ripped off.
