I dont know if anyone has been in the classifieds lately but there seem to be several well priced superchargers and a turbo kit in there and it got me thinking....for my street and sometimes strip car, does it make much of a difference what type or brand I end up going with?

Classic examples of people going out and buying s/c or turbos trying to run ungodly amounts of boost on a stock motor trying to impress people and then have their motor blow up. Then that 3-5k they spent on the power adder is money wasted so they end up selling it dirt cheap.
