Default Red vert, what color stripes?

Wel I bought the 04 GT the other day and now the wife is talking about how good it would look with stripes. It is bright red with a tan(beige) top. I'm looking at the 6" stripes with the pin stripes beside them. My problem is what color stripes would look best, I think white, black, or tan/gold. I don't want them to clash with the top too much but then again the top will be down about 70-80% of the time, it wont see much if any rain. Just let me know your opinions and pics if anyone has any. Thanks, Matthew

Honestly, I think you will ruin the appearance of the car. It's not a race car.

Your first mistake was letting your wife have input on what you should put on your car.

Stripes on a convertible look really dumb. I wouldn't do it at all

the only way you should put stripes on that car is to do it like this guy. looks amazing.

personally i don't think verts can pull off the strips. Put the money towards a nice set of wheels or a hood.

stripes look bad on our new edges in general, not just verts.

I STRONGLY disagree.
My car is red with white stripes and I always get compliments. Just my .02
I don't think they mesh with the verts tho, keep it stripeless and wheel and a hood.
