Default Vibrating Pattering sound ?????

i dont even know how to explain the sound to be honest with you..

It happens in 3rd or 4th when i start going above 3500rpm comes from right under the center councel. its like a a not healthy sound i would guess. creates a slight vibration and vibrating noise. Gets worse as the rpms go up. I was leaning towards the tranny or the driv shaft. maybe ill try to record it via cam corder idk

unfortunately the drivetrain's on our cars are very noisy! but i'll take your word that its a "non-healthy" sound. it would be best to change the driveshaft anyways(along with the u-joint), it'll free up some hp anyways. Then maybe do shifter and clutch+flywheel

Most of the aftermarket shifter manufacturers state *with their products can come some additional noise around the shifter. --assuming you have one.

Check the tranny mount. Also kinda a dumb question but when the gears were done was the driveshaft placed back on correctly. Usually when you dont mark it and put it back the wrong way it creates vibrations.

Most likely needs a new d/s or rebalanced d/s also check to see if the pinion is loose, it shouldn't have any play, I had a similar problem and it was a combo of the two and it is now fixed. Also If you advanced the spark plug timing through a programmer all the way up it may cause that, I had to decrease my spark plug timing because it felt "unhealthy".

Check under the drivers side dash for an upgraded quadrant. Mine rattles sometimes.

I know on my previous car this was a bad center bearing, allowing too much play in the driveline and the shaft actually banging up against the tunnel... would that be an issue on these?
