^^^^This is the primary reason I think most guys go with aftermarket COPs.
I know a few guys that run ACCELs and none have any complaints, so I guess there are very different experiences with them.

Definitely DON'T mess with your COPs if they are currently working fine.

Thats awesome. I guess its just luck of the draw. I just have talked to alot of people that have had issues with them. Like i said i was told at first a year warranty & then i call accel to get them replaced & they told me they changed the replacement policy to 90 days. IMO they changed it for a reason! But im glad to hear that some people are having good look with them!! Hope it keeps up. Take care.

Talking accel cop

You hit the nail on the head with this one!! I was having no problems at all but just thought the accels would help a little. Well they did, help by dropping the size of my wallet by a little!!!

FWIW I had a set of Accel COPs that lasted 20k miles or so, then 3 of them burned out in a span of 10 days--put the stock COPs back in and all was well.

I'm doing a field test of a set of Weapon X's latest EFX revision right now, only 750 miles or so on them now--so far all is well...
