Side Scoop Removal and Install
 

Can the Mach 1 side scoops be pried off with a flathead, or is it necessary to unbolt them from the inside?

Will Saleen side scoops mount in the same hole locations (if there are any)?

The side scoops on my 01 GT are held on with push pins (I know this b/c a piece of road debris riped one off) so you can just pull them off. Not sure but I would think the Saleen scoops would use the same type of push pins to hold them on and use the same hole locations

yep they just pop off and on.

i'm with jjand. i got one ripped off as well. no damage and they just pop back in!

I too questioned this but i have a 96 GT do they bolt through the inside or do they use push pins as well?

I also had mine ripped off in a parking lot.. thinking someone walking by hit it just right and took it off lol. But i have a 99 and it didnt have the bigger gt side scoops so i decided it would be good timing to buy the newer GT side and hood scoops

What ones you looking for? i have my older ones (black) just sitting in my room and dont mind just sending ya one if you wanna cover shipping

they pop right off, i found that out when i got side swiped :(
