**** that's EASY and it seems to work. I used the half inch copper cap and drilled a quarter inch hole in it then filed her smooth.....popped off the IAC hose and pooed the cap in there, then popped the hose back on.

Sweet.

IAC restrictor plate.......a cheap, easy solution

Okay - now looking at this thread it states "This is for anyone that doesn't like when the RPM's that are slow to drop or even rise slightly when you push the clutch in to shift."

Mine rises usually up to about 2000/2500 rpm... Do you think doing this will help? Or do you think it could be something else?

The IAC hose is attatched to the IAC/connected to the throttle body is what I'm guessing. I took a hose off of it to take the IAC off. I don't know a hell of alot about cars - and I've been researching this problem for the last couple of months and have learned a lot. I cleaned the holes in the IAC last weekend as well as the ones that line up and go into the throttle body - they were pretty full with carbon and sludge and crap.
