trying to install x-pipe. hit a snag.... i have ford racing headers .. so the bolt isnt one peice with the header. the driver side header has the egr pipe coming out right next to the bolt head and i cannot find a way to the bold head with a wrench to hold it ... anyone know what i should do?

You mean the bolt isnt welded or fixed into the header?

Can you get a stinger up there to it and tack weld it into place?

Thats what i do to all headers i get that arent fixed.

no its just a bolt dropped down through the flange.

and where the egr connects is right next to that bolt and you cant even get a wrench around it.

i tried to undo the egr connection but it wont budge.


and im at work and i cant be dicking around with this all night so i just ended up putting it back together

im pretty salty right now
