I have been told that the stock differential and axles are good unless you intend to run slicks, then you have a good chance of breaking an axle. They make harden 28 spline axles, but I haven't heard of anyone using them.
Not trying to jack thread but if he would go with the cabra diff, would he be able to install this in the housing he has now?? or would he have to buy the cobra axle housing as well??
What are they rated for??
do you plan on a lot of drag racing with hard launches and sticky tires?
nah, but i am hard on my car. it see's atleast one bounce off the rev limiter and tire spin per day lol but the reason i asked is my friend has had his bullitt for 100k miles and got 3.73's put in recently and he had to buy new axles and stuff because his spider gears were messed up from all those burnouts, so i figured i might as well go ahead and get the Diff. but i didnt want to get the axles.
